Founded in Houston

The Mission Begins

It Started With a Bad Chili Oil

In 2019, founders Brian and Sunny were tired of reaching for chili oil that tasted like nothing — thin, flavorless, forgettable. Houston deserved better. The city that launched rockets into space, that built a culinary scene as bold and diverse as its people, deserved a chili oil that actually showed up.

So they started making their own. Small batches in a home kitchen, testing ratios of crispy shallots, toasted sesame, and dried chilies until the heat was right — not just hot, but complex. Layered. Something that lingered like a good story.

What We Stand For

The Space City Heat Code

Real Ingredients Only

No fillers, no shortcuts. Every batch starts with whole dried chilies, fresh aromatics, and high-quality oils. If it doesn't belong, it doesn't go in.

Small Batch, Always

We cap every production run to preserve quality and freshness. When a batch sells out, it's gone until the next one. That's the deal.

Houston Through and Through

We source locally when we can, give back to the community we grew up in, and carry the spirit of Space City in everything we make.

Heat With Depth

Anyone can make something spicy. We obsess over flavor first — the heat is the reward at the end of a complex, satisfying journey.
